It is contraindicated to postpone any dental procedures because of pregnancy; they may lead to complications that can harm your baby. Even anaesthetics that are offered at the dentist are considered safe during pregnancy.

It is very important to pay attention on oral hygiene when you are pregnant. Brush your teeth thoroughly twice a day, in the morning and before going to sleep. Take more time to brush, 3-4 minutes will do. If you have morning sickness and you throw up, brush your teeth! Additionally, don’t forget to use dental floss every day and a proper mouthwash. These are the basic steps in keeping healthy teeth. It is also essential to go to the dentist regularly. Professional oral cleanings are also a good idea when you are pregnant. This way you can make sure that your oral hygiene is as good as it can get.
